Next contest and for future contests, please have it that a costume is judged by either A. Spookiness, Quality, and understandability or B. Cuteness/pretty, quality, and understandability.

I came in last just because it was judged by spookiness, cuteness didn't count.. Not everyone chooses spooky halloween costumes, and we shouldn't have to make our costume spooky for the contest. We had to do so just to win in this contest.  that's just not right.

Halloween costumes aren't meant to be cute, they're meant to be spooky
That's the whole point of halloween
Dress spooky, get candy
I didn't know that halloween was a cute celebration now
Plus, it literally said before hand what they're judged on. You should've followed those guidelines if you wanted to win. It never said for you to make a cute costume. It literally says "you will be judged in 3 categories for a final score: Spookyness (is it scary), Quality (How detailed is it), understandability (Can I tell what it is)", so
basically
in future
read the post properly
