 Like a mutt to a mirror, Logan and Logan touch hooves. The universe does not implode, the sky does not fall and crush the world, no- but the bizarre nature of the Wandering Crypt has duplicated, or otherwise provided a simulacrum of Logan Masculan, Malpractice, in commoner tongue. Suffice to say, everyone is just as confused and distrusting as both Logans are of eachother. Both check eachother's inventory, and for sure- they both carry the same exact items, even the rat-coin that one of the Logans should never have been in contact with, and an entirely separate copy of Virtuous Gold- what can be assumed to be a weapon of singular make.

 Both Logans will from this point, onwards, be segmented by the use of the terms 'Logan' and 'Masculan'. 'Logan', with Lulamoon, and 'Masculan', with Hardtack and the rest.

 It doesn't take long for another soft puft of dirt to fly as the necromancer, Aatehortua, and his zombified compatriots land behind the lot, welcoming the company for their travels within the Crypt. Following another distant sylph, the party presses on, philophising with the Harvest-loyal necro-mage along the way, garnering valued insight as to Harvest's deeper motivations. The long and short being that of all concepts and emotions for which there are pantheons and monotheistic gods to worship, Death, has none. There is no Reaper to claim the souls of the deceased, or otherworldy creature that devours the unbeliever post-mortem. Death has no ruler, and Harvest seek to exploit this fact to the fullest- by spreading death across the world.

 Hours of trotting pass, Aetehortua using one of his minions as a mount for times, till the party is too tired to press onwards. The sylph waits with patience, but setting up camp, even in what appears to be a relatively peaceful forest by the Crypt's standards, is unreliable. Aetehortua offers a short stay in ''Something I found.'' Opening an old tome, a pop-up image of a castle appears, and with a poke of his hoof, the necromancer is gone. His undead wait outside. Following, for better or worse, the crew is invited to an entire castle grounds, courtyard and bedding included. After a short, rejuvenating rest, the lot leave, and the necromancer closes his book with a dusty flump.

 A few minutes pass before a few people recognize the book as being The Book About Castles that Fabu requested. Some bargaining ensues, while Masculan slows his trot to near the reserved ram in the back, Dewhurst- asking him but a simple favor: To see into the vitality of such a creature as that necromancer. The ram sizes him up from behind before fiddling with a device in his hooves. Dewhurst's timebombs proceed to explode violently, flinging both him and Masculan into a nearby tree, and panicking Hardtack, who was just prior, on good terms with their broody guest. It's clear it was the same, if not a very similar spell to what he'd been using to detonate the striders just hours before.

 With a mighty swing, he dents... his own armor, as the necromancer flees. He didn't swing bad, nay, his swing was perfectly on target. Yet by some twisted Harvest magic, the force of the impact went entirely into his own body, the necromage unharmed. Much shouting follows, at the Harvest bastard, at Hardtack, and at Dewhurst and Masculan. Logan attempts to defend each side, but things become awkward quickly considering they both talk in unison when referring to themselves. Odd trick of the mind, mayhaps. In the chaos, Ulthar slinks away to pursue the mage.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 ''Welcome to the Hale and Hardy's, what can I get for you?'' States a familiar, but plain-looking stallion. Logan and Masculan are both aggitated at having been led into yet another of the same bar, and vocally so. The archways into this place weren't even portals, they were open on both ends with a clear-as-day rope fence separating either side, plainly visible.
 The familiar crack and whir of Capricorn laser-muskets being drawn disrupts the unified ranting.
''You're not Coil, and you're not from here either, are you?'' bleats out one goat from the front.
''Anything from the Crypt just leaves us be and keeps walking, thinkin' they're in another Hale and Hearty. Coil try to stay for drinks and it's an easy notch on the rifle. You're different.'' Much tired explanation follows, each goat listening with interest as their guns slowly lower from their targets. Eventually, the guns and blades are all retracted, and an understanding is reached. The ponies playing bar-staff are with Capricorn, aswell as their dog, who doesn't seem to take much liking to the babe on Trixie's back.
 And indeed, that's exactly what the demon had planned for the vile mage.
After a long trek, passing carcasses of self-inflicted deaths of many a greatwolf, Ulthar spots the old book of castles hidden in a bush, open. Stepping inside with utmost silence, he's able to sneak in and witness the mage forging an army of the undead, using a spell Hardtack unwittingly taught him by sharing notes on his odd book. This particular spell allows one to summon a corpse from absolutely nothing, and it is able to be raised as any simple-minded undead.
 With the deft hands of a master thief, Ulthar snatches the book, aswell as a primary weapon from the necromancer, before slipping away, back to the misty forest. Gently raising the book, Ulthar slams it shut, the castle pop-up folding back into place with the necromancer still inside. Unable to escape, a simple binding is all that's needed to ensure the dark mage is trapped.
WIZARDS, SEASON 3, HOTFIX 06.06.18
ADDED:
-New lore book, Capricorn History & The Bovine Creation Mythos, drops from goats.
-Furries
-Re-implemented Patches, drops from Logan.
-Wericorns, Currently only one exists in a test-state, available from Swordplay.
-Crystal creatures, no touchie-touchie.
REMOVED:
-Logan
-Patches
-Herobrine
-Unnecessary goats
-Crystal creatures
PATCH NOTES:
-kILL Y O U R F R I E N D S
-Swordplay will now enter a berserk state upon entering her new Were-pony transformation. Further testing required, feedback, as always, is appreciated.
-The decision to remove a Logan from play was a hard one, but we felt it was necessary for the plot to continue as normal. Players seemed to feel anxious around him and it was frankly for the better. It didn't help that his sword and attack-coding seems to have been off-kilter, causing him to attack allied units at apparently random.
-It's possible we may have made the crystal creatures slightly overpowered. They have quite a significant amount of health and radiant damage has no effect, but with the addition of their Vulnerability to Fire we believe this has compensated for their potential one-shot-KO.
-Considering nerfing Trixie. 130 damage in a single attack is a bit much.
 The stench of charred flesh and hair hangs in the air, the crystal-creatures being burned so as to neutralize their corrupting touch. The Immortal Children who were their lead struggle against their bindings pitifully. The waterfall in the near distance flows unaffected by the madness of the Crypt. The Shineblocker dragon-kind and the party stop to lick their wounds. Minutes pass as the Translating Top-hat is passed around, conversing with the Shineblockers and interrogating one of the Immortal Children. They are all eventually hung at their feet by a nearby tree, immortal faces placed beneath the flowing water's surface. These 'Littlemouths' of the Sangualith from here, won't escape until the very tree rots.
 In the search for the tortoise Gumbo, requested by Fabu, Logan discovered two artifacts of intrigue: 'The Bottomless Beer Mug', a mug through which all fluids pass immediately. Solids stay within. Entirely useless. And a reusable Scroll of 'Aqua-Breath'. With some hesitance, Logan does elect to test this, thinking it potentially a new offensive ability. This is a subject of immediate regret.
(click to show/hide)
 The air escaping from Logan's nostrils is water. The air going into Logan's nostrils becomes more water. The air in Logan's throat is water. The air in Logan's lungs is water. To save their medic from a horrific dry-land drowning and imminent water-lung, Lulamoon flips the noble boy upside down on a tower of vines, and Ulthar practically crushes his body with a demonic fist from Tartarus. This alone however, would not save him. Thankfully, one of the Shineblocker clerics is able to dispel this vile curse. Giving Logan time to recover, the group eventually continues towards the heart of the Sangualith, in effort to stop the flow of Immortal Children and the Splintered into the Crypt.
==========================================================================
 You are subsumed by a malady of sensations. An overbearing weave of unease is inescapable, flooding your mind with fogged memories of pain and nausea. The silver stud in your ear rings like the flow of blood on a silent night, and you can see Lulamoon's veil billowing heroically.
 Flanking the bar-stool upon which you stand, the terrain is sickeningly malformed.  No longer do the wood-panels hold together this titanic Hale and Hardy, they have been uprooted by tones of amethyst and obsidian, dominating the faces of village-sized glassy spurs. Swallowing the horizon whole, stands a massive face of crystal. With spiked teeth the scale of mountains, it scowls at your presence. Each jagged growth has some flowing liquid mere millimeters beneath each surface. In the tow of this fluid are twinkling nebulae. Who can comprehend the scorn of the swirling stars? Trixie and the Hat, can.
 "How could you refuse my precious gifts?" screams the Sangualith, as your ears would wish to retreat. "The universe is naught but meat and mouths. You could have been one of my mouths. I would have fattened you with destruction, with you, we could have consumed every world and star, until you were strong enough to be consumed yourself. All would have joined in my perfect image. And you refused. Why?!"
 The time had come for the egg of The Glass Cages to crack open. Trixie holds it close with care, and communes with the hatching War-Bird within. "Mother, does the war still rage?", "The war may not still be the same, but war yet still be fought for the same reasons." "I shall drag these nightmares down with me."
 The egg is shattered by its hatchling, thrashing from its confinement comes a creature like a phoenix born not of fire, but of darkness. With an unholy screech, it flies directly into the Sangualith's maw, and the very world itself trembles in fear. Before absolute destruction takes their own souls with, the Shineblockers teleport themselves and the party out of this lair of crystaline consumption.
==========================================================
 Fabu greets Logan with a smirk, albiet unknowing of the names of his friends. Some explaining is done, but it's eventually accepted. The party's reward, is escape, and they've been so generous as to bring with them several magical artifacts Fabu requested. As a sylph girl delivers to Fabu his precious Gumbo the tortoise, Logan lays out what the party had found.
 The crown of green glass, the bottomless beer-mug, the book of castles, a scroll of aqua-breath, and a coin of two rodents. In trade, Fabu offers a few items.
 A bearded battle-axe: "The Black Mistress". This axe is familiar. It belong to the Hogbah, although it's been modified in some way. It is unknown how this came into Fabu's possession.
 A sylph bride. A suitable companion for a young noble, and with some practice, she could very well allow an individual to fly.
 An artisan's chest, finely crafted of the best materials available during its time period. Ulthar is able to pick the lock to reveal a swath of potions.
 A jewelry box, containing a set of enchanted earrings. These earrings allow their wearer to telepathically communicate with someone within twenty feet.
 A copper locket, containing the image of a pony maiden, trapped within a tower near the shore at Vanhoofer.
 And an ancient rug, with something wrapped within.
 Other items are offered, but these are the ones taken. Logan is more than welcome to take a sylph companion with, and holds The Black Mistress for the time being. It reminds him of another axe he used to own. Good times.
 The potions are held together for now, to be distributed at a later date. Ulthar is happy to take the earrings and locket.
 Lullamoon unravels the rug revealing what is apparently an unattuned voodoo doll, and the foal Ma Yuudl screams. It is evident she is under immense stress, and a dark presence overtakes her aura for moments' time. The doll grows to the size of two hooves. The visage before the party is mind-boggling.
 The doll is a dark, leathery black, with a copper thimble on one hoof. Blue and black feathers adorn its head in an almost fiery pattern, and its face is masked with a bent bronze coin.
 The Coil tanks stomp into position around the circular rune, setting up the prison-wagons as walls to block in the incoming teleportation. A Coil airship hovers high above, more tanks ready to deploy to the ground. When a Shineblocker in full armor and a handful of equines step out, some surprise is had, but the Dawn Lariat readies his chain and the Exterminators charge their cattle-prods. A loudspeaker rings out from one of the active Coil tanks: "Surrender, and you will not be harmed."
 "And just what exactly did we do?!" yells out Lulamoon. The tank does not respond. Logan opens his mouth to talk, starting to move his front-hooves up, but before any action can be taken further, a warning shot is fired, and Trixie reacts immediately, whipping at two of the gas-mask baring Exterminators. Ulthar, intent on breaking free of this entrapment of tanks, fires directly into the crowd. His horn glows bright, aiming for the bull, directly past Logan. In a move of panic, Logan throws Ulthar's shot wide, striking off a chunk of the Dawn Lariat's armor non-lethally, and blasting a hole clean through one of the Exterminators.
 As the Shineblocker starts rampaging through towards the Dawn Lariat, the Exterminators move in to capture the equines. With a crackling of tamed lightning, Logan, Ulthar, and Trixie are all victim to a rough tasing. Logan is able to back down and surrender. Lulamoon and Ulthar both continue fighting, but with the introduction of sleeping gas onto the field, they both go down in turn. It takes a tank's shot and several Exterminators to take down the Shineblocker and his mighty hammer. Somehow, through the concealing helmet, the Dawn Lariat still looks cocky.
 Logan, still having his gas-mask on, is immune to the sleep-gas- and the tasers, while painful, are far from lethal. The others are unconscious. Logan is dragged to the side and questioned briefly while the others are restrained with cuffs and lead horn-caps. The unconscious Shineblocker is dragged off somewhere, likely to a separate wagon. In the rolling cells, a few of the Capricorn soldiers from the Crypt who also managed to escape are present, and one of the cows is missing a front leg.
 Trixie is very unhappy with Logan.
When last we left our heroes, they had expunged a writhing crystal mold of beyond the stars from the Wandering Crypt. Only then to be ensnared in a devious ambush of Salamander's Coil manufacture.
Present tense. Also no picture or fancy title this time.
The scene opens in the steel prison-wagon. Everypony is disarmed and briefly patted down, left mostly unequipped in the hard seats... with hoof irons, and even rubber bands for the screwheads.
Everypony mingles tiredly. Some captures from Capricorn actually seeming relaxed about their eventual negotiation and release. Logan inspects a stallion's stump leg, finding that in fact the wound has been properly handled except for the cleanliness of the bandages. The fool is even numbed by some anesthetic.
Their destination, the coil city of Jambaandre, appears overtop a hill in the highway. The majority of buildings outside the walls are constructed of mass-produced green bricks that match the squat city wall. Smokestacks emitting vast pollution betray the city's affiliation even more than the native Mawocahli name. A grim fort, shaped as an imposing cube, looms near one edge of the city's wall. The convoy of prison wagons, pulled by respective warstrider tanks, approaches this cube fort and the prisoners are shuffled inside.
As the players leave the stuffy wagon, a Coil functionary clad in an annoyingly clean jumpsuit squints at his clipboard. "You!" He says, pointing at Albus.
The players are shuttled into a small government building, which belongs to this city's militia as a constabulary. In the lobby is an out-of-place round table with a quite young stallion; eating an eggy breakfast in a very sharp business suit. He is introduced as an Executive of the Coil. Herefore named Two Scoops.
Scoops has a file at hoof, containing photographic evidence left behind at the scene of the Staggers & Jags - where the players got mixed up in a big, bloody battle and inadvertently scrapped a mission. A Cycle 9 mission. Logan utilizes his earrings and experience, allowing several diplomacy perks in his character sheet to steer the conversation.
It comes to light that the investigative team was interested in the bartender [from the staggers & jags] and his apparent narcotics trade with some indigenous goat tribes to the south & east of his inn. The investigators should've been more interested in the eleven dead bodies on the inn's floor and who done it. Further, a Capricorn rifle on the scene had no hoofprints - but had traces of being levitated by unicorn kinesis. Yet further, Albus left some pawprints...and the innkeeper gave the Coil a pretty good description of the players's faces, even after he promised not to remember their faces. [avarice had a oneshot game with the Coil investigators and they squeezed the info out of the bartender successfully. So he didn't keep his promise.]
With an admission that Elaine Silverskin is known for serious collateral damage, Scoops feels as though there's room for an amicable solution for all parties. If it weren't Elaine who they killed, but someone more precise? Then Scoops would've had the players killed and thrown into the sea. "And then hopefully your bodies washing ashore in the North would've been message enough for whoever sent you."
And then somebody mentions that Elaine wanted the foal - whom Scoops hadn't yet mentioned. This causes Scoops to put two and two together. He needs the child. He didn't previously know even if Elaine had found the Crypt's Scion - but here she is, napping on the blue mare's back.
Before any consensus is reached, a dramatic entry asserts itself upon the proceedings. A heifer trots into the room, flanked by her kinsmen - three bulls clad in the impossibly thick green plate of the Dawn Lariat organization. The heifer limps, however, as one hind leg is a prosthesis made of hissing steel. A whisper passes the lips of many ponies in the room.
Mooretta Von Shot.
"These are mine." she asserts. "It was my mission that they disrupted, my assets that they killed. So leave the sentence to me."
Two Scoops is already up from his chair and nodding - ready to kowtow to the... cow. "This, this is what will happen. You will let them leave. And I will come for them. At a time they least suspect, in a place where they feel most safe..."
Scoops is still nodding.
"And I will kill them all, with my own hooves - SAVE ONE. For whom I reserve a fate worse than death."
That's that. Moorietta turns to leave, satisfied that her decree will be satisfied. Scoops orders the heroes locked in the constabulary's cell while he gets into contact with his superiors. He needs to determine a course of action for the foal: the Scion of the Wandering Crypt.
Time passes.
Moorietta Von Shot returns, alone, to the constabulary and orders the few guards still on the scene to leave- to which they do not hesitate but obey. The heifer then pulls a clip from her mane, revealing a Hat of Disguise. It's no cow, it's the Queen's Rebellious Daughter!
The QRD Rapidly begins picking the cell door's lock.
With the aid of her Hat of Disguise and a *Candle of Aura of Invisibility* [trips off the tongue] the players make their jailbreak & recover their inventories. We engage in a stealth montage through the streets of Jambaandre, to the QRD's designated hideout. A barn.
Fair Do's, this next segment Avarice is lifting nearly wholesale from a D&D podcast. Be cool if you know. SSSHHHHH.
She describes that a pegasus tied to some antiquities trafficking was murdered, and he'd already placed cargo in the vault of the Lightning Rail from here to the city of Split. This cargo is a very dangerous and nondescript magic item to be kept ouf of irresponsible hooves. the Queen's Rebellious Daughter insists somebody else play undercover as this antique mogul to gain access to the train and intercept this package.
Trixie uses a recently-obtained druid power of self-transformation, disguising herself as a masculine pegasus & succeeds in bamboozling the ticket office.
AH YES HELLO YOU MUST BE MEESTER KASLAR, VELCOM TO ZE SPLIT LEEMITED LIGHTNING RAIL, JA MY NAME IS JENKINS, I AM WIZARD ATTENDANT. SHALL I BRING ZE DRINK CART?
After turning in the tickets to gain admission on the train, the heroes meet a chubby goat with a sparkling pink bow tie; dressed otherwise as a waiter. After some pleasantries & putting their weapons into a locked trunk [well. everything that was obviously a weapon...] the heroes introduce themselves to two more characters. A sweet, innocent pegasus colt named Angus and a brusque earth mare introduced as Jess 'the beheader'
Ready to get the objective, the players socially retreat into the cargo car and attempt to crack the CRYPT VAULT in which the mysterious magic maguffin is held. They have a few low rolls, and decide to bide thier time for now; in case disenchanting the case would alert the train staff. They leave the cargo area and re-encounter Angus, who has used a magic book to figure out that the players are not who they claimed to be. Angus himself claims to be a skilled investigator, on the hunt for a serial killer.
 Faced by a cornered child and in magically-ensured privacy, Trixie Lulamoon Mr. Kesler revealed himself, startling the colt for certain. Some explanation is necessary, but it takes ultimately little to bring Sherlock's mini-me on side. Before long, the party is split. Albus amongst others are mingling with the other folk aboard the lightning-enreathed land-vessel while a scant few remain with Angus in his quarters, invading others' privacies and committing outright theft to try and find themselves a murderer. Speaking of murder, I'm going to kill the pacing here and explain the involved characters.
Trixie Lulamoon disguised as Mr. Kesler, pegasus and antique collector. and smuggler.
The Queen's Rebellious Daughter, "At any one time there's probably a dozen different ways that our world is under threat." We run our own story, and she has her own to steer. She's just along for the ride.
Eve, a ditzy blonde earth-pony paladin who's devoted her life to the Shineblockers Church of the White Sun.
Jess the Beheader, one who beheads. A complete sociopath devoid of all care for death considering her monetary source: That being murder. She participates in the Bloodsport, essentially gladiatorial combat. She's for all intent a wrestling heel given an axe and license to kill.
Jenkins, a funny-accented goat who services those on the train, providing basic snack services and the like.
An unnamed goat, hire of the organization what runs this train, who must touch the Crypt Vault for an entire hour straight for it to open.
Angus (like the beef), your archetypal boy-detective from all those novels you've somehow or another lost after the move.
Crouth, a bounty-hunter, and his bounty, a stick-ly hag. Yes, stick is intentional. She is made of sticks. There is a chicken living inside of her literally empty head.
------------------------------------
 Scene 1: Angus's Quarters
Characters: Angus, Logan, Trixie as Mr. Kesler, Ulthar
Begin Scene-
[Ulthar is picking the lock on a briefcase from an unoccupied room adjacent to Angus' Quarters.]
[Logan is compiling stolen notes from other rooms.]
[Trixie as Mr. Kesler to Angus:] "Alright boy, let's see what you have here."
[Trixie as Mr. Kesler proceeds to take Angus' notes and reads them silently, nodding occasionally. Focus pans to Ulthar, who has now cracked the briefcase.]
[Within the briefcase is a syringe full of an unidentified purple liquid. Ulthar opens his mouth as to call over Logan to investigate, but is cut off by a shrill shreaking from the dining car.]
[All characters exit stage left.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 Scene 2: Dining Car
Characters: All player party, Eve, Jess the Beheader, Angus, Crouth and hag
Begin Scene-

[Eve continues to shriek]
[Eve:] "o-oH sUn is HE DEAD?!"
[Corpse is very dead.]
[Corpse has had its head savagely separated from its torso with a solid blade's cut, and both hooves have been severed violently, likely with a sawing motion. Scorch marks cover all belongings and the carpet.]

[Albus hungers for spaghetti.]

[Logan determines that the corpse is, infact, dead.]
[Logan diagnoses everyone within the room with hightened levels of stress.]

[Trixie, no longer as Mr Kesler, determines the dead goat is not, infact, Jenkins, as the corpse still has all valuables save for the equestrian-silver tip he gave to Jenkins prior.]

[Logan instructs all but player party to remain at the body.]
[Trixie strikes Logan in the back of the head before running off to the engine with Ulthar. Rest of player party proceeds to the Cargo Car & Crypt Vault.]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Scene 3: Engine Car
Characters: Trixie Lulamoon, Ulthar, Timberbeast, splotched goat behind door.
Begin Scene-
[Trixie demands train be stopped through blast door.]
[Goat is abrasive and refuses to stop the train, stating it to be a security measure.]
[Trixie demands the train be stopped once more, citing the murder.]
[Goat once again refuses, stating that the train shall arrive at the station in Splint be it rain, sleet, or slaying.]
[Trixie is incredibly suspicious of Goat, and as Ulthar is unable to pick the lock on the blast door, the Timberbeast is left to guard its exit as Trixie and Ulthar reconvene with the player party.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 Scene 4: Cargo Car
Characters: Full player party
Begin Scene-

[Logan searches boxes and various crates.]
[Ulthar begins attempting to pick the physical lock on the Crypt Vault.]
[Albus hungers for spaghetti.]
[Trixie, noting Albus' lack of ability to crack the enchantment of the Crypt Vault, searches for its magical source before discovering that the entire traincar is, infact, magical. It is, infact, a complete hoax and illusion. Logan discovers what appears to be some form of magic 'pill-gun' that disappears and re-appears where it originally was kept before whole party exits to Dining Car, following further screaming.]

~~~~~~~~~
 Scene 5: Dining Car
Characters: All save Jenkins
Begin Scene-
[Angus and Jess are both covered in scratches and claw marks, Jess under immediate assault by what appears to be some invisible creature. Crouth's cuffed hag is on the ground screaming in confused agony. The Queen's Rebellious Daughter is wary, against the wall opposite Jess' assault. Eve cowers, unarmed.]
[QRD to Trixie, across car:] "Druid! You can see spirits, can you not?!"
[Trixie nods in confusion, but agreeing to this fact.]
[QRD to Trixie:] "THEN DO IT."
[Trixie's perspective shifts to a black, empty void, which is quickly reshaped into a dining car. Within the dining car is herself, and a vile spirit, imbued with an aura of absolute hate and misery.]
[Albus hungers for spaghetti.]
[Ulthar fires a burst of demonic energy forth, blazing an area around Jess with fire. No noise is heard, and the blast seems to disappear entirely when it strikes one spot in particular.]
[Logan sprints across the room, leaping chairs and skirting beneath tables as if in a fluid state. Passing Jess the Beheader, he quickly lays the axe, The Black Mistress, at her hooves.]
[Jess equips The Black Mistress, noting its light weight compared to her usual armament.]
[Logan runs towards Angus in attempt to protect the colt before being slashed in his side by a dark, malicious presence. It causes a horrific pain, one not healed by his own medicinal skill.]
[Logan, to QRD:] "What even is this thing?"
[QRD, in response:] "https://youtu.be/Y62EgHvwa8k"
[Logan, in response:] "What."
[QRD, in response:] "It doesn't have a form, because you can't comprehend its existence. It's, it's like a sort of https://youtu.be/DH0BQtwEAsM"
[Albus screeches out some sort of griffon-melody, attempting to conjure this creature into sleep. If it is effective, it's unknown, due to the fact that noone except for QRD and Trixie can even comprehend this creature.]
[QRD, to Logan:] "Is that sword any good?"
[Logan, to QRD:] "https://youtu.be/1W7c8QghPxk"
[QRD, to Logan:] "Then make it count."
[QRD proceeds to take a small clock from her satchel, throws it to the ground, and smashes it violently with a forehoof.]
[Ulthar grips the incomprehensible fiend in a demonic fist beyond his own direct control, unable to know truly what he holds within his palm.]
[Trixie enblazens this creature with eldritch fire, wounding it severely.]
[Time stops entirely. Logan perceives all things as having halted.]
[QRD, to Logan, echoing:] "Then make it count."
[Logan rushes forward, a bloodlust blazing behind his eyes, Virtuous Gold being held high aloft his head as he slams his entire body's weight into the invisible thing, brilliant, radiant light shining for none but himself, and by some means even Trixie, to see.]
[Logan twists Virtuous Gold, causing the creature untold pain, ripping the sword free of its spine, before digging the Gutter blade into its flesh, carving skin with a surgeon's precision, drinking the incomprehensible blood of an incomprehensible creature. The taste is incomprehensible.]
[Time returns, Logan being perceived as having teleported to the invisible creature.]
[Albus hungers for blood.]
[Albus, with help from a certain surgeon, proceeds to slam the creature into an incomprehensible pulp by use of a frying pan and Jess's new axe which she is very much not used to.]
[All spend time to recover and bind wounds.]
 Jenkins had to be found. Fearing the worst, everyone rushes to the vault-car. Some arguments break out about how they're supposed to catch a man who can make an illusory pocket out of a door on a whim. Believe it or not, a crippled ninja slinks into the hallway, before being callously told off by the QRD. It actually works. She wanders off into a room and disappears. It takes some time, but eventually Ulthar was able to slip out of the train via another connecting section, fly to the caboose-door, and pick the lock. Inside is an entertaining sight: Five Jenkins-es, one trying to open the Crypt Vault with the severed hoof of the dead goat. The others hold a variety of weapons: a magic focusing book, a magic-focusing silver watch, a boot, an acid grenade-launcher, and a miniturized tank.
 So, rather than assassinate the obvious real Jenkins, that being the fool fiddling with the lock on the vault, Ulthar instead opts to just start blasting fools. The beam of intense, demonic fire is thankfully enough to break Jenkin's concentration and shatter the illusion blocking the true vault door, allowing the others inside.
~~~~~~~~~~

 I really wish I'd've found my axe sooner. I probably could've gotten more done with it, but that little hatchet the boy gave me worked out pretty well. I put one hell of a dent in that tank, but I wanted more than anything to crack that little stomper like a tin can. Either way, the others cleaned things up pretty well. One of them got put in a cage at one point, but somehow... swapped places with the boy and he seemed pretty well pissed about it. It was kinda funny but I think the little bastard held some grudge about it for a while.

 As for Jenkins, he was a tough little runt. Magic missiles, grenades, dude was even able to teleport seemingly at will, and to top all that, he kept taking hit after hit and just somehow kept going. At one point I'm pretty sure all that was left of his midsection was half a spine, but he just... kept going. It was crazy. Honestly though, I've seen worse in the 'sport. His final bargain was interesting to say the least. I'll just put it like this: Impersonating someone takes a bit of practice in acting.

~~~~~~~~~~~
 I'll go ahead and break the story-written narrative here because to explain what all happened beyond the fight with Jenkins at this point would be beyond difficult. So, I'll put it simply from here-on. The Vault was eventually opened, as it was partially unlocked by the severed hoof and Albus was finally able to crack it ahead of time. Inside, a variety of enchanted artifacts were found, along with the QRD's magic mcguffin.
 Logan got to keep a Bag of Holding worth two-thousand pounds. Perfect for this lad's titanic inventory he's amassed, a large brass key that belongs to the same company as the Split Express, presumably of high value elsewhere, or somewhere that this train leads, and a painting of the Capricorn Patriarch. A large goat dressed in indigenous clothing, and smoking from a pipe. She's said to be 'a hundred times more dragon than those Shine-Blockers.'
(click to show/hide)
 Trixie got herself Moonsplitter: A metal shank that allows its user to take a move-action as a 30-foot teleport, and a quote-on-quote bag of cannon. It's a dirty-looking Bag of Holding, with a fully-operational CANNON stuffed inside. You can predict the results of its use.
 Ulthar was gifted an enchantment to his magic focus- the amulet on his chest, which enhances all of his attacks with Cold Iron. His potential against Fae-creatures has been immeasurably increased.
 Hardtack gave himself a gift- taking Jenkin's corpse into some bizarre ritual from his necromantic book from the Wandering Crypt, and transforming him into an unspeaking shadow-clone. In a slew of questioning afterwards, the translating hat was placed on the shadow's head, and Hardtack's thoughts- both conscious and unconscious- spewed out in a perfect match to his voice. Hardtack kicked the hat away very quickly as the hat screamed about kicking that damn hat away.
 Aside from this, Hardtack was unanimously decided to herald a very important scroll. The Scroll of Heavens Above. Within ten minutes of any creature's death, even were the body entirely deformed, the scroll is able to perfectly resurrect them, before the scroll itself burns in the ashes of Hells Below. This is noteworthy, being the one and only item so far even mentioned that has the ability to resurrect. Ulthar is the only being in the party that is truly safe from death, being able to turn to ash and warp himself to recover in Tartarus even post-mortem. Aside from him, this item is of immense value.
 Albus took Jenkin's fancy watch. Charisma +3. Only buffs goats.
 The Queen's Rebellious Daughter took Jenkin's magic focus wand. Using it to create a place of privacy from the NPCs, she explained a few things about herself, her organization, her mcguffin she came all this way for, and the inperceivable creature what attacked us in the dining carriage. It's a little before this that the ninja is found by Logan, Ulthar, and Jess the Beheader. She's actually fairly reasonable, having quit her assignment (that being to kill Jess) after being assaulted by an invisible foe. She's following us for now to avoid a death sentence for quitting.
----------------
 So, the Queen's Rebellious Daughter explains things as such: She works for the Cascade, essentially an organization of NPCs focused on stopping a cascade of inevitable events that would lead to the complete destruction of the known world. One of their greatest enemies is The Seventh. Can you hear that static in your mind when you try to think of what The Seventh is? That's The Seventh. Don't think about The Seventh. Stop thinking about The Seventh. It's unhealthy for you. Do you have a headache yet? Then stop thinking about The Seventh.
 The TL;DR of the QRD's story about The Seventh is that there were seven incredibly strong creatures of the moon, that were discovered by Luna in her younger years. These psuedo-dieties, demi-gods you could call them, were definition-less. They had no form, and essentially held dominion over non-existence. The void itself. Like black-holes in the realm of god-hood.  Luna gave them definitions. Gave them dominions in doing so. This process worked for six of them, but not The Seventh. The Seventh remains, The Void, The Unknowable, The Inconceivable. Thankfully, these gods of the moon have no current effect upon the state of Nightmare Moon or her banishment. Did we mention that the moon being barren is a total lie?
 The moon supports life, in fact, quite a bit, and there were whole civilizations that rose and fell upon her surface, but all that remains of them is ruin. It's uncertain why exactly they all fell, but the QRD has been to 'Old Lua' a good few times herself.
 Just remember when you go to sleep, staring out your window at the bright moon above, reflecting the sun's light, that there's something up there- staring down upon you- an undefinable being. An inconceivable beast with sense-immune minions. All, with an urge to kill.
The teleporty dagger is Moonsplinter; not Moonsplitter.
Heavens Above has to be used within ONE minute of a creature's death to revive them; not ten.
Its the capricorn "Heirarch" not "Patriarch". That wouldnt even make sense since Stavrogen is a female goat.
didnt mention the Chasrum- the organization that Jenkins most likely works for. They have a base on the moon, and exploit the lifeforms up there for their own agendas.
Fallen moon civilization was known as The Children of Seven; but now they are rebranded as The Six.
 To be fair most of my notes were hastily typed as the session was going/just after and I only wrote this like a day or two after the fact, lol
 This summary is being written for posterity, as a summary was forgotten after a period of time past since said session. Since a new summary is coming, this one will be quick and simplified.
 After bringing the train to a stop at the station, the lot of the party and the 4th Oldest Inspector escape the station in an absolute blood bath, and end up robbing a bank. Don't ask why.
 A couple people were straight-up murdered, Logan and the 4th Wall Inspector were more than happy to do so. Inside were various loots, that will be listed here:
  ----------------------------------
 One drawer's worth of coil scrip
    An antique chestplate & waistguard, magical. When identified this is one of three powerful suits made to make mortal ponykind more survivable in the face of primordial superentities in the idyllic time-before-time. This one is named "Rey" possibly derived out of "king." When wearing this armor, if your enemy's attack roll is 31 or higher then you only suffer one quarter [rounded up] of its damage and no other effects.
    A fireproof strongbox. Gotta open it up to find out still.
    Pouch of emeralds and 12 unenchanted wands
    A scroll case, containing the blueprints for some building's floorplan.
    Three magic rings.
    >First among them is Creekrotter's Band, a horn ring that makes its wearer at home in the muckiest of swamps. You cannot be harmed by the bugs, diseases, rot or filth of any swamp, bog, fen, gully, marsh or veldt. You can still get wet, but gnarled roots can't trip you or impede movement.
    >The second ring is Slimy Doom. Critical hits upon an enemy inflict the disease, Slimy Doom, upon them. The disease slowly incubates in the body, starting to show symptoms after three days. Against most ponies the disease is lethal after the seventh day; 12 days for earth ponies. The disease has a known cure. This ring, when worn by a noble hero, wants to convince them that personal advancement and greed are the highest ideal. The ring however has no way of communicating nor compelling this desire to anyone, including its wearer. Not even a good way to find out if you are a 'noble hero'.
    >The Third ring is inscribed with the sentence 'For a lovely bride, on her special day' This ring increases its wearer's physical defense by three, and grants immunity to sneakattack / backstab effects - making these sneaky moves into regular hits instead.
    Two silver bars, each worth about 150 silver coins. Underwhelming.
    A katana with matching scabbard and a certificate of authenticity. This is identified as Weight of Earth.The user of this sword must be a "bright one" ie a druid, ranger, twilight guardian, shaman or sage. Comes with a basic melee attack. The sword can alert its owner to the presence of secret doors or other hidden passages. It does have slots that can be modified, perhaps with a cold iron charm to be like a coldforged iron weapon. Weight of Earth [bm] Target is slowed, save ends 16. Damage pierces any Resistance or physical damage immunity. 6d10 damage.
    Painting of Bizwiz the Grand, not magical
    Ruby the size of a young adult pony's head. I dont remember saying it's magical so it's not.
    A potion in a star-shaped bottle. Drink this and you can permanently change an Encounter power into a recharge power [5-6]
Inside the lockbox is a half-gallon glass flask of some kind of glittering, purple & indigo liquid. Also there is a brass locket that shows like a video feed of a pony maiden inside a round stonebrick room. She's sitting on a bed, covering her face with her hooves from apparent sadness
There is a barred window visible in the brick wall, out which you can see the sea.
also with logan's school knowledge the liquid in the flask seems to be astral brine from the astral sea. Stuff does cold & radiant damage on contact with flesh. An amount as small as this would be like a D12 total if poured on someone. The liquid is weirdly light inside the flask.
Lots of potential for crafting with it
----------------------
 As the front of the bank is surrounded by tanks and Coil agents, the lot jumps into an alleyway and bail to the outer city limits.
